Out prediction is that if ten thousand voters from the Central Scotland Region sign the petition then that would almost certainly secure one EDINBURGH & EAST LOTHIAN PEOPLE MSP from the regional list in the May 2026 Scottish Parliament Elections as only around twenty-five thousand votes will be needed.
